SMM May 23 report: Today, the mainstream transaction prices for #0 zinc ingot were concentrated in the range of 22,695-22,815 yuan/mt, with Shuangyan zinc ingot transactions ranging from 22,915-23,005 yuan/mt, and #1 zinc ingot transactions ranging from 22,625-2,245 yuan/mt. In the morning session, the market was quoted at premiums of 30-60 yuan/mt against the average price, with no quotes against the futures market. In the second trading session, the quotes for ordinary domestic zinc ingot were at premiums of 230-260 yuan/mt against the 2506 contract, SMC was quoted at a premium of 250 yuan/mt against the 2506 contract, and the high-end brand Shuangyan was quoted at a premium of 450 yuan/mt against the 2506 contract. Today, Qilin zinc ingot arrived, increasing the market supply. However, the futures market rose compared to yesterday, and downstream buyers' willingness to inquire and purchase was average. Spot cargo transactions were weaker compared to yesterday, with overall trading mainly among traders.
